Mission Statement:

     Grand Marais Community Development's mission is to work in cooperation with Iberia Parish Governments to create opportunities for growth and enhancement to develop programs that promote citizen involvement and a strong sense of community, while striving to increase the educational, social, cultural, and physical well-being of its' residents and visitors. 

 

The Iberia Parish Parks and Recreation Department operates 14 parks throughout the parish, totaling almost 400 acres of green space available to the public.

Our community has bayous, sugarcane fields, festivals for every occasion, culinary treats that will excite your taste buds, coupled with music and fun, and most importantly, family life.
